And in my own self-destruction,
You'll do the same,

Sit here beside me,

TonightTonight I tried to open my eyes,
The widest I could,
In the hope I'd see more,
Than what was there,
But when I opened my eyes,
I felt tears,
Then drops run down my cheek.

I'm sick of crying,
I didn't want to cry again,
But I shed another tear.

I took off my jumper,
I wanted to feel the cold,
When I shivered I felt real,
Like I wasn't pretending,
Because I am,
I'm hiding,
So I can't be found.

I'm sick of hiding,
I don't want to,
But I'm still wearing my mask.

I watched the darkness,
As it closed in,
I blended into the night,
For a moment I belonged,
It was good to belong,
It was like I had a place,
Where no-one tried

The girl from the holeI'll tell you a story.

There's a little girl,
That hides away,
But sometimes,
She comes out to play,
She likes to hide,
But not today.

There's a little boy,
Who's very nice,
He passes the girl each day,
Sometimes even twice,
But each day she goes unseen,
Too shy to break the ice.

One day,
While he was out,
She came from her hiding hole,
Sick of playing scout.

He saw her come,
Out of her hole,
Scared at first,
But he played his role,
"I'm so sorry little girl,
I didn't bring you a doll",
She looked at him,
And began to laugh without control.

Being nice as he was,
He asked her "what's this hiding all about",
He saw he

Use all that you have,
So that you can show me,
What is you can't explain,
I know some of the picture,
Is already there,
But I need to see it all.

Please don't ask for assistance,
Because this task isn't mine to carry out,
Just do what I ask,
I need to know,
What it is that you can't tell me.

I'm not sure I want to know,
Or even if I need to,
But all this is something,
I should probably know.

I know it might not be,
So beautiful,
But they'll be a truth,
A full truth,
That hasn't been revealed.

So please give it what you've got,
Paint me a picture.

ColdIf blood is thicker,
What runs through your veins?
Because if it's blood,
It must have run cold.

All that time you've spent alone,
Avoiding the ones,
That used to love you,
Perhaps,
You let the warmth leave you.

I'm sure your wife's bed has gone cold,
Now that you let her sleep alone,
I wonder if she still misses you there,
Or has your distance turned her numb?

You hug your children,
Say that you love them,
Then you leave again,
Nothing more to say.

Is that how your father was?
Your children don't see their Grandfather,
Is this because your mother died?
You were a husband first,
You're a father now,
I'm sure your dear mo

ChildhoodThose memories of childhood,
That lay behind the veil,
They leave us with desires to be that way again,
Then we feel empty,
Memories leave holes.

I miss the ignorance I had as a kid,
It's escaped me somehow,
I got stuck with knowledge instead.

What an unfair trade,
To know what things are really like,
Or how they really are,
Instead of seeing everything how I want to,
I miss that kind of carefree I had only as a child.

Those times when I could spend hours,
In another place,
But never leave this house,
When wanting to be a fairy or an astronaut seemed a fine career choice,
We were so far from growing up.

It was so easy to bel

I only hear the silenceThe only thing I can hear is the silence,
There's nothing there,
I lay awake and wait for white noise,
Then I wait for it to turn black,
I wait to close my eyes on a dreamless sleep,
And let go of my restlessness.

I can only hear silence,
I dig my nails into skin,
In hope for some relief,
A release,
I don't cry out,
The silence is impenetrable,
I can't hear even my heartbeat over the sound.

I pray for voices in the background,
Anything but this,
My fingernails break the skin,
I'm still reduced to this,
This deathly quiet.

I know someone is talking,
But I don't hear a word,
All that's said is meaningless,
It doesn't matte

I'm Sitting On The Side Of The RoadI'm sitting on the side of the road,
I'm tempted to lie down,
But I don't,
I might not get up.

I can hear a voice in my ear,
I'm sure I used to understand,
But I don't know what he's saying,
His words make no sense.

It's getting darker,
I wish I could stay here,
I don't want to go home,
I don't even want to stand.

I realise how long I've felt this way,
It's been awhile,
The voice still talks,
I still don't understand.

I think I'm afraid,
If I go home,
Scars could stain my skin,
But I wish they wouldn't.

I don't know what I want,
But it isn't this,
It's just so hard to heal,
When I've begun my self-destruction.

Well, I didn't actually d anything special for my Birthday, like I told you in an other message but my school's Science class showed me a lot of kindness and just for that it became the highlight of that week. That and this drawing were the best thing that happened to me that week.
